Now the real work begins...

While this is indeed a volunteer position, it does follow the adage, nothing is free.
It costs approximately $10,000 to support a volunteer for the year. ELCA Global Mission contributes up to $6,000 for each young adult's year of mission service. However, I am responsible for raising a minimum of $4,000, which will go to provide transportation costs, housing, board or food allowance, language training, a small stipend, health insurance, US and in-country orientation, and a re-entry conference.

I ask you for your support in a number of ways, including encouragement, prayer, and financial assistance. Please consider making a contribution to support me in the following year.
